We introduce ourselves as “Udhaya Raagam U.K. Murali Innisai Mazhai, one of the fore runners in the World of Cine Light Music, proficient in performing in all South Indian languages like Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and also in Hindi and Western. Udhaya Raagam has captivated the hearts of music lovers for more than a decade. Udhaya Raagam specifies the “Rising of Ragas” from talented and versatile musicians. Mr. UK Murali, a talented young man and his brother UK. Manoj who was the backbone behind the grand success of this orchestra, introduced Udhaya Raagam in the year 1985. Leading Film Stars, Music Directors, Producers and Political Personalities like Nadigar Thilagam Dr. Sivaji Ganesan, M.S. Viswanathan, Thenisai Thendral Deva, Kalaimamani Gangei Amaren, Dr. Shankar Ganesh, Dance Master Raguram, GK Moopanar, GK Vaasan, Mani Shankar Iyer, Mr.Thirunavukarasu, Minister MK Stalin, Karathe Thiyagarajan, Mr. Mullaivendan are some of the renowned VIP’s who have honored our glittering and colorfull stage performances.

UK Murali is an exclusive singer who has sung for 18 hours non stop in 25 different voices performed at Kamarajar Arangam Chennai. Now planning to sing for 20 hours non-stop with leading play back singers at Kamarajar Arangam from 4 am to 12 pm planning to telecast in Raj TV.

On seeing the performance of Udhaya Raagam, Mr. Chitra Lakshmanan, famous Director has offered a chance in the Movie “Chinna Raja” featuring Karthik and Roja and also the Orchestra has performed in the movie “Jodi” featuring Prasanth and Simran and the offer was given by Ratchakan famous Director Mr. Praveen Kanth, music being AR Rahman. UK.Murali also acted as a Hero in a Mega Serial (Idhu Oru Kadhayin Kadhai) directed by K. Baghyaraj, which was telecasted in PODHIGAI TV.
